Child Protection & Advocacy

Kingdom Relationship Network is committed to safeguarding children from abuse, neglect, exploitation, and harm. Our Child Protection & Advocacy program combines prevention, intervention, and advocacy so that children in Liberia have somewhere to turn and someone to speak for them.

The need

Too many children have nowhere safe to turn

Children in Liberia face abuse, neglect, exploitation, and forced labor, often without an adult who can intervene or a clear path to help. Families in crisis frequently do not know where to report harm or how to reach the services a child needs.

Kingdom Relationship Network exists to close that gap — protecting vulnerable children, strengthening families, and empowering communities to keep children safe.

What KRN is doing

The Child Advocacy Center and the Child Protection Hotline

The KRN Child Advocacy Center opened in 2025 in Monrovia as a safe place where children and families can find protection, counsel, and coordinated support from trained social workers and advocates.

The Child Protection Hotline gives children, families, and community members a way to report concerns and reach help. Together, the Center and the Hotline anchor KRN's prevention, intervention, and advocacy work.

Who this program serves

Children at risk, and the families around them

The program serves children who have experienced or are at risk of abuse, neglect, exploitation, and harm, along with the parents, caregivers, and communities responsible for their safety. KRN protects the privacy and dignity of every child it serves and does not publish identifying details about individual cases.
